The sacred Brahma Temple of Pushkar and the holy Ajmer Sharif are the most visited pilgrimage centres of Rajasthan.The various pilgrimage centres of different faiths are an excellent demonstration of communal harmony - an inherent component of the Rajasthan built magnificent forts and places but at the same time paid due attention to the today Rajasthan attracts thousands of devotees, pilgrims and lovers of art from all parts of the world to marvel at the wonders of architecture, craftsmanship and devotion.


Dilwara Temple-Mount Abu
These beautiful carved temples built in 11th and 13th century and dedicated to Jain Tirthankaras. Outside the main doors of this temple, there are two statues called Devrani's and Jethani's goklas respectively, and are backed by stories of competitive jealousy of the two wives of these brothers. The Vimal Vasahi temple is older and is also known to be the first Jain temple and is dedicated to the first Jain Tirthankara. Built in 1031, by Bhim Deva, the first Solanki ruler of Gujarat, the temple is constructed in pure marble, with plain exteriors.

Bijolia Temples -Bijolia
Bijolia Temple is situated at Bijolia near Bundi in Rajasthan. It is a complex of ancient temples once numbering 100, now just 3.

Birla Mandir-Jaipur
The Birla Mandir situated in the south of Jaipur has been built by wealthy Birla family.One of the largest industrial dynasties in India. This white marble has three domes, each styled according to different approaches to religion.

Brahma Temple -Pushkar
Lord Brahma is the very famous temple. This temple is the only temple dedicated to Brahma. Brahma the Hindu god of creation, four headed facing and all four directions symbolizing his presence everywhere. The temple has marble floors and stairs and coins have been put by the devotees to mark the the births and deaths of their loved ones.

Jain Temple-Jaisalmer
This group of fine jain temples were built in the 12th to 15th century within the Jaisalmer fort. They are beautiful carved and dedicated to Rikhabdevji and Sambhavnathji. there is also a Shiva and Ganesh Temple inside the fort. Gyan Bhandar or Library : Some of the oldest manuscripts of India are found in this library established as a part of Jain temples.
